CopySafe upgraded for optimized surfing using session
checking.
In the past, to
maintain that the CopySafe plugin is in fact intact and that
your content is protected, each page downloaded by your
visitors triggered version checking. Now, as long as cookies
are enabled, the visitor is checked at the beginning of their
session only.
New download locations
For faster downloads, there are now new locations for visitors
to download the plugin installer when they visit your web
site. During installation the visitor can nominate their
location which will install the plugin better suited for their
home location. Regardless of which
country you web site is located, it is from the visitor's
browser that version checking occurs, so although your site
may be located far away at times slow, the initial version
checking performed at the beginning of each session will be
delivered locally.
Upgrading your
site
We now provide the upgrades from separate folders so that you
can test the latest version before updating your site. With
each upgrade to the Windows platform there are always bugs.
ArtistScope endeavours to provide updates as soon as possible
to meet the ever occurring changes but it cannot be guaranteed
that the Windows update is stable until their fixes are
available. It is strongly recommended to make your own tests
before adopting the upgrade to ensure that it suits your
requirements. Any bugs should be reported to support s soon as
possible.
